"Sometimes...Always" ~ A poem for Jonny Benjamin. XXXX 

Sometimes the things you didn't know existed are the things that mattered

Sometimes the biggest storm you weather is contained inside a tear

Sometimes the bravest move you can make is backward

Sometimes it is someone listening that brings you the loudest cheer

Sometimes the smallest steps form the biggest hazard

Sometimes the most strength you can show is in carrying on

Sometimes the weight of a smile can leave you battered

Sometimes you need someone who will allow your mask to be gone

Sometimes the kindest feeling is honest anger

Sometimes the silence speaks over a thousand words

  Sometimes just a second’s peace is what would make your world grander

Sometimes you wish for someone to find sense in these feelings that are most absurd

Sometimes the cruellest enemy is your mind 

Sometimes the course of the future cannot be clearly mapped

Sometimes within your own soul you feel lost and misaligned 

But always shall you be in my heart, forever safely wrapped ♥♥♥

Happy Birthday Andrew Harper

A friend is someone who never shuts their doors

Naturally they see the starlight in your flaws

Daily they search their heart and make a space

Resting your woes and worries there safely in place

Each time they believe in you, you become even more courageous

Whenever you fall, they lend you their wings to transport you to higher status

However long you take, they'll always wait with patience

Around you they put a breeze of the sweetest fragrance

Reaching out, they’ll always find you- distance is no contender

Precious moments are always delivered from this generous sender

Ever since the start and right up until the end,

Respectfully, these are the marks of a true and special friend!

Thank you for being a true and special friend- you are a gift! Hope you have a special day :o)

Happy Birthday Lukey-Light!

 Bless your beautiful, positive, generous heart <3

From the start it was quite apparent

That your appeal went beyond your talent

With a heart as giant as the Sun, but as gentle as a whisper

You brought your light into my life with endless charisma

 

During thunderstorms your rainbow nurtures

A myriad of vibrant colours contained in an arch that emerges

Because of your warmth, I feel the Sun shining even when it isn’t

To explain this with clarity, words are not sufficient

 

Yet I shall pursue the rhyme and prose

For it is a gift from the heart that flows

To celebrate everything you are, your presence and demeanour,

And deliver you love that could fill an arena!

The incredible campaign that is helping raise awareness of suicide and promoting a message of hope – a beacon of light through the dark...

   

“Legacy of Find Mike"

Listening – the gift shown by a man who was willing to hear

Emotion- freely flowing, clearing through the smear

Grace – captured at the heart of the this act of benevolence

Altruism- extending beyond and leaving a trail of evidence

Compassion- underpinning subsequent actions, a constant theme

Yourself- the ability to be this with enhanced self-esteem

Openness – breaking through the barriers that kept things closed and hidden

Finding – discoveries of hope and spirits that are passionate and driven

Friendship – built on solid ground, they shall be lifelong, enduring, eternal

Inspiration- that extends into the world through mediums virtual

New- outlooks, knowledge, perspectives and conceptions are woven

Directions – doors that were shut tight now begin to open

Mike – a name that has become an adjective, a quality

Ideas- limitless, innovative, they fuel the future odyssey

Kindness- to show this has become our united endeavour

Endings- surely give way to new beginnings that will last forever?
