Oh dear! That last one was a sad one wasn't it! Let's have some nice happy colour to brighten things up a little :) If anyone has been on my Twitter page (@MelJayNaray , you will know how much I love colours and rainbows! This next poem is in recognition of this! I just decided one day last year to base a poem on the colours of the rainbow... I was pleased with how this one goes! What do you think? Lotsa love Mel XXX
Rainbow Love
I want a love that’s painted with the rainbow shades
A love where brightness defends when darkness invades
Red love hearts that bounce and dance to passionate beats,
And Orange zests to leave a fruity trail that no one deletes!
Yellow sunshine will warm our souls and make everything shine
Green grass grows with happy pink flowers in a steady line
Blue feelings will disappear and save their colours for the friendly sky
In a world where people can be called Indigo and nobody asks why
Violet skies settle as the night rises and the day sinks
And it’s sure to stay like this forever if nobody blinks!
